Sorry Allen but I have not looked at the Jaco surname for some time and failed to note it in Family Tree Maker. The source was probably someone who responded to my inquiry and I will look further when I return from vacation (leaving today). This is what I have:
Deborah's father was Abraham "Jacquith" who was born in Charleston, MA in 1645. He died in Woburn, MA on Dec. 17, 1676. His wife was Hannah Jordan who was b. in Charleston May 13, 1643. I have seen a lot of name changes over the years so Jacquith to Jaco seemed reasonable assuming Abraham's parents were immigrants. French? They may have changed to a more English sounding name since most folks were English back then, probably even in Charleston but certainly in Billerica where Deborah was born in 1660. I have that Deborah was m. on Dec. 6, 1681 in Billerica and died there also on Feb. 24, 1703/4. Hope some of this helps.
