Hi,
I am on a quest to try and demolish one of my brickwalls and reading your posts makes me feel like I am so close but still so far away.

This is info I am sure of and can document:

CAMPBELL, Julia b Aug 20, 1821 unk. where d. Dec 1, 1899 in
Washington, DC md MURPHEY/MURPHY, John William on
April 02, 1837 in Washington, DC. He d. Jan 13,
1864 in Washington, DC. Both buried Congressional
Cemetery in DC.

Several years ago I received info from a cousin that said Julia CAMPBELL was the daughter of Aeneas CAMPBELL and Betsy JACOB.

From reading your info I think this could be possible but it has never been listed in any databases anywhere for Aeneas and his descendents that I have found yet.
One of Aeneas' wives was Henrietta Chaney from AACO. One of his children married Sintha Gaither and I see where Jeremiah Jacob married Rachel Gaither. Aeneas was in the Sugar Loaf Hundred/Monocasy Hundred as were some of the Jacob's.

Have you ever run across this marriage anywhere in your Jacob research? It is making me crazy..any help would be appreciated. I can't get in contact with the cousin anymore to verify where she got her info. from.

Thanks,
Laurie Taylor Gilman
