Albert Edwin Jacobson, b. 1890 in Wisconsin and died 1977 in Los Angeles. He married Allie Frances Carpenter 1916 in Oklahoma City. She was born 1892 in Texas and died February 1975. A son, Lee Albert Jacobson was born 1917 in Oklahoma and died 1967.
Allie Carpenter was the daughter of 'Will' Carpenter and Frances Rucker. 'Will' was a descendant of George Zimmerman/Carpenter, Sr. who was in the 1st Virginia Regiment and was with the George Washington forces at Valley Forge in the winter of 1777-78. The Muster Roll reports that George was dead in March of 1778. 'Will' is also the descendant of Carpenter brothers who established Carpenter Station in Kentucky at the time of the American Revolution. There will be a reunion for Carpenter descendants in Kentucky on Fathers' Day weekend in 2006.
