Hi, I don't know if this is a connection but the names are to familiar. I have been researching ny fathers side of the family. The name is Jakubiak, my grandfather changed it to jakuback. My greatgrand father was Jacob Jakubiak born June 29,1857, came to the U.S in 1882.We believe he was born in Posen Germany/Poland. He had two brothers that we know is in the states Stanislaus & Martin. We believe there were more siblings. My not be a connection but the names sound very similar. It could fit. Please advise if you know of any relatives that were in Conneticut.
