My Johanna Jacoway who married Hamilton
Stewart--her father is Archibald Jacoway
b.Mar20,1783 in N.C. & d.Aug13,1844 in
Jackson Co., AL, is buried in the Cumberland
Cemetery there. I don't know if he married
a Neal or not but do know Johanna's mother
is Mary Susannah Gilreath, b.Aug1784 Wilkes
Co., N.C. & d.Aug18,1840 Jackson Co., AL &
is also buried in the Cumberland Cemetery.
They were married Dec29,1804 in Wilkes Co.,NC
Children other than Johanna are Benjamin Jones Jacoway ba 1806, Nancy, Elizabeth,
Sally, Rebecca 1812, William Ussery, and
Rev. John Garrett Jacoway, b.July26,1818.
This may not be your William Archibald who
married the Neal. Thanks for replying.
