After reading the data from the various messages, I have found the following:Archibald was bound out by his mother,Elizabeth Barber to Alexander Holton in 1790 (that makes him 5 or 7 years old.) His brother Samuel was bound out in 1778 by his mother Elizabeth. Father,listed as Samuel was dead. Another child, John,mother Elizabeth was bound out in 1781.My old notes show there was also a daughter, Mary, bound out before 1786. In Wilkes Co. in 1778 Elizabeth Jacoway swore she was pregnant and the father of the child was Spencer Humphreys. He was to be apprehended and brought in to answer the charges. 1783or 85 is a few days from 1778. It seems that Archibald accepted the earlier brothers and sister as his kin, because he named some of his children after them. There was Usury and his last son(by 3rd wife) was Samuel. Wonder who was Elizabeth??
