Capt. Archibald and Private William M.

I have a list of Col. Snodgrass' North Alabama Mounted Volunteers Company "I" led by Capt. Archibald Jacoway. Also listed is Private William M. Jacoway. My ancestors, Francis McKinney (Corporal) and his son-in-law Private Jesse McBee served in Jacoway's
company. Jesse's widow, Rebecca, filed a petition seeking pension for Jesse's service in the "Florida War." The record shows that Jesse enlisted October 1837 and served until April 1838.

Just posting this to share. If someone comes across any other Jacoway-McKinney-McBee relationship, I would be glad to hear of it.
