This is very strange because my name is also Susan Hayes (but, with an "e"). My grandmother was Nancy Lynn Jacoway, your dad's sister. Their father, Thomas Jacoway married Mary Elizabeth Harrison (his third wife) and they had seven children. Thomas Jacoway had either 13 or 14 children total with his three wives. Mary Elizabeth Jacoway died of a possible stroke when my grandmother was only 18 months old. My grandmother was the youngest of their children. They lived in Ft. Payne, Alabama. My mother, Winifred Larmore Scott, has a lot of information on the family and even pictures! (of both you and your father and sister, Jan) She tried to contact you once but couldn't find your number.
