Is Archibald a son of Samuel, too?

6 Mar 1781, Apprentice Bond: Benjamin CLEVELAND, Chm County Court, binds unto Joshua GREER orphan boy John HAKAWAY, son of Samuel JAKAWAY, decd, til 21 yrs ol to learn occupation of a weaver & read & wright (sic). [McKOWN, F. Ltr to G. BROWN (nd) (Will Bk I #50, Wilkes Co NC)]

Does anyone know what happened to the father Samuel?
