Hi Sally,

I have that Stephen Jagger (b. 1719 in Suffolk Co., NY) who married Martha PIERSON on 24 Jan 1751 is the son of Jonathan JAGGER (1678-1761) and "Bethia" (no surname found thus far!).

Stephen's known siblings are Matthew JAGGER, b. abt 1717 and Ebenezer JAGGER, b. abt 1708. Both born in Suffolk Co., NY.

Jonathan JAGGER (1678-1761) who was married to Bethia, is the son of John JAGGER (died Oct 1699 in Southampton, Long Island, Suffolk Co., NY) and Hannah (who died after Oct 1688). Other children of John JAGGER and Hannah are: John; Jeremiah; Benjamin; Samuel; (Jonathan); Elisabeth; Sarah; Susannan; and Lydia.

The information provided above is delineated in Howell's History of Southampton, which is dated 1887.
