Seeking any information on Elizabeth “Lizzie” Jagger Snyder (b. abt. 1881, Penn.). She was the daughter of William J. Jagger (b. 1831, Halifax, West Yorkshire) and his second wife Lizzie. On Apr. 10, 1897, Lizzie Jagger married Charles N. Snyder (b. abt. 1872, New York state) in Chester, Penn.

Lizzie lived in Chester, Delaware County, Pennsylvania, apparently from birth to about 1902. Charles and Lizzie lived briefly in Joliet, Illinois, about 1902-1903, where they were in contact with Jagger cousins from Galesburg, Illinois. In 1910, Charles & Lizzie were back in Chester, Penn.; the household then also contained their son William C. Snyder (b. abt. 1898, Penn.), and Lizzie’s aging father Will Jagger.

In 1920, the Charles N. & Lizzie Jagger Snyder family were at Amsterdam, Montgomery County, New York. Charles farmed there, possibly at the place where he was raised. Their son William E. Snyder (b. abt. 1898, Penn.) and wife Jessie F. had two known sons: Richard W. Snyder (b. abt. 1919, N.Y.), and Charles N. Snyder (b. abt. 1925, N.Y.). This last family of four were, in 1930, at Ft. Johnson village, Amsterdam Township, Montgomery Co. Penn.
