I am trying to untangle the mess my family has with their James genealogy and I would like to know if anyone has a good FACTUAL website on the James Family including proof. I was on one today which is where a lot of the misinformation has come from and most of what the person authoring the site has has no proof at all just speculation and attempts to connect with everyone from George Mason to The Name That Must Not Be Mentioned, great in theory but not much proof. Their line is from Fauquier County Virginia and I can trace back to Benjamin D James and wife Mary. As I said I'm looking for a good shove in the right direction.
