Cara James, born October 14, 1863 in Vigio County, Indiana, died March 2, 1955 in Washington, Tazwell County, Illinois, was my great grandmother. She was married to Josephus Moore Kirby (b.11.25.1862, d.12.19.1937) on November 9, 1884, in Thomasboro, Stanton Township, Champaign County, Illinois, and had 6 children by him: Emmet Robert Kirby, Nell Alameda Kirby, Alma Lenore Kirby, Edna Elberta Kirby, Corley W. Kirby, and Agnes Blanche Kirby, who is my grandmother.
Her parents, Thomas James and Almeda Ransdell are the focus of my inquiry. i have practically no information about them other than their names.
Any information about them would be greatly appreciated
