The statue to Mary Jemison is Letchworth State Park in New York State. There are also other things in the park relating to her. The park is beautiful, called "The Grand Canyon of the East." There is also a very good children's book about her by Lois Lenski. I'm not sure of the title. It migh be "Indian Captive:, but I'm not sure.
