Thanks for the response i am going on a hunch my gggg grandmother Sally (Jennings) Morris was born 1803 in PA moved with family to Ohio. she later married 1822 in Portage co, Ohio where Elnathan and Hannah Jennings had settled a artcle lists that their daughter Elizabeth was a Thomsonian Doctor who practiced herbal medicine I later learned my gggg grandmother also practiced herbal medicine i believe this is a skill taught and passed down through family members so was curious.
