Found old family bible with this family in it. They had two daughters;
Sarah (4-13-1867 / d. 5-4-1876)
Mary (09-14-1869 / d. 5-13-1876)
The girls died in Sing Sing in 1876. What do you think the girls might have died of? Was there an epidemic of some sort in New York at that time?
James was born 02-14-1833 and Caroline "Carrie" was born 09-20-1841. Carrie died 03-14-1888 in New York City. Carrie's maiden name was Baker. They were married 07-03-1866.
We don't know when James died or where

Mary Baker died 09-16-1885 in Sing Sing
Victoria Baker Romaine died 05-02-1869 age 31 yrs 26 days in Sing Sing
William Baker died 08-01-1900
Henry Baker died 06-26-1906
Mary Baker died 05-04-1906
Ella Romaine died 11-23-1886 in Sing Sing

The Bible was bought in New Hampshire.
