Thanks for sending along that link; I have not yet tried it. I have not come across a link to DANCE in my research. I have found that Helen Laing married a BROWN in Berwick-upon-Tweed, and I have found a Mary SPENCE living with them but have not been able to verify that she is the mother-in-law to BROWN as stated on the census. I will keep a lookout for your DANCE in my research.
