Imogene C. Johnson, 76, of Morristown, TN, departed this
life at sunrise on Thursday, September 24, 2009, after a
brief battle with cancer.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Lucy
and Tom Cole; and her three brothers, Quincy 'Q.D.' Cole,
Fred 'Bud' Cole, and Tom 'Junior' Cole.
She is survived by her husband of 61 years, James W.
Johnson; three daughters, Sandra (Lynn) Stubblefield,
Cathy Walker, and Janet (Mike) Ketner; one grandson and
six granddaughters, Bryan Stubblefield, Stacie (Ketner)
Brubaker, Paige (Walker) Greathouse, Lori (Stubblefield)
Arnette, Kelly (Walker) Blevins, Leslie (Walker) Wright,
and Ashley Ketner; and seven great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. – 7 p.m.,
Saturday, prior to the service at the church.
Funeral services will be at 7 p.m., Saturday, September
26, 2009, at Alpha Baptist Church with Dr. Terry Kirby and
the Rev. Ken Cole officiating along with scripture reading
by Ted Headrick.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m., Sunday, September
27, 2009, at Jarnagin Cemetery.
Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
