Doyle Ray Johnson, 68, of Sneedville, TN, passed away
Wednesday, October 21, 2009.
He was a member of Sandy Springs Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Hugh and Ethel
Johnson; and brothers, Clifford Johnson and Robert Johnson.
Survivors include wife and companion, Alice Johnson of
Sneedville, TN; son, Daniel Johnson of Sneedville, TN;
daughter and son-in-law, Rebecca and Dennis Ferguson of
Sneedville, TN; grandchildren, Renee and Dylan Ferguson of
Sneedville, TN, and Devin Johnson of Sneedville; great-
grandchildren, Cayden Beckler and Hailey Barger; sister
and brother-in-law, Ivory and John Boarman; and several
nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to express a special thank you to R. C.
Johnson and Dennis Ferguson.
The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. - 9 p.m. on
Thursday, October 22, and Friday, October 23, 2009, at the
McNeil Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday,
October 24, 2009, at the McNeil Funeral Home Chapel with
the Rev. Alonzo Collins and the Rev. Bruce Davis officiating.
Serving as pallbearers will be R. C. Johnson, David
Lawson, Ricky Johnson, Gwynn Johnson, Dennis Ferguson, and
John Lee Boarman. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be
Dylan Ferguson and Devin Johnson.
Interment will follow in the Johnson Cemetery.
