Theodore Lucas <theodorelucas@netscape.net> wrote: Hello Linda! I was researching the original owners of a Judson historical house in Woodbury Ct that is going to be offered for sale. Is there any interest by any of the Judson family descendants to restore this family home? It needs a lot of work but the good part is that it is very original with little changes over the years It was built by Elnathan Judson for his son Thaddus in 1766. Elnathan lived across the street and some of the family lived up the street. It is outside of town and in an area of exclusive home in the traditional style new and old. Please reply if you can give me any information. If I could afford it I would have taken it on because of it's charisma and historical importance. It once was an "ordinary" coach stop and reputed to house General Lafayette when he passed through the town with his troops. From the geneology tree, I found Elnathan was the son of John Judson (1647-1710) who was the son of Joseph (apt.) Judson (.... - 1690) m 1644. How neat! Would love to look at property, but alas, I live in TX. Perhaps if you put below info on the Judson query site, someone else in the Judson network may have more info on the property or can help. Thanks for letting me know. Linda Dolby Notify Administrator about this message?
