week at their homes if he behaves himself.

Mrs. Martha Meyers, 89, 1081 W. Wood St., died at 2:05 a. m. yesterday in Decatur and Macon County
Hospital.
Mrs. Meyers was born Feb. 3, 1875, in McLeansboro, daughter of Andrew and Kisara Darnell Belt. She moved
to Decatur in 1899.
She was married to David Wiseman, Rudolph C. Hoendorf and H. B. Meyers, all of whom preceded her in death.
Mrs. Meyers was a member of Woodlawn Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son, William O. Wiseman of Whittier, Calif., two half-brothers, Fred C. Page and James D.
Page both of Decatur; and a half-sister, Mrs. James (Mae) Biggerstaff of McLeansboro.
The body is in the Dawson & Wikoff Funeral Home. Arrangements are incomplete.

Mrs. Eva Belle Wright, formerly of Decatur, died Thursday evening at her home in Plant City, Fla., according
to a message received by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. R. C. Hoendorf of 739 North Union Street. She was
twenty-seven years old.
A message to thr Review said Mrs. Wright took acid. Grief over her husband's death was said to be the cause.
Her parents had recently sold their home in Decatur and had their household goods packed in readiness to
move to Florida to be near their daughter, who was so well pleased with conditions there that they had
decided to move threr also.
Mrs. Wright was born in Centralia, but came to Decatur with her parents when she was a little girl. Beside
her husband and parents she is survived by a brother, Orville Wiseman of Detroit. She had lived in Plant
City, Fla., for three years. The body will be brought to the Moran & Sons undertaking establishment in
Decatur, but the time of the funeral has not been decided on.

The death of Mrs. Eva Belle Wright in Plant City, Fla., Thursday, was not caused by her taking acid in a fit of

despondency over the death of her husband, declared her mother, Mrs R. C. Hoendorf, Saturday morning.
"Mrs. Wright's death was caused by tuberculosis," declared Mrs. Hoendorf. "Her husband, Ora Wright, died
in Des Moines, Ia., June 14, seven years ago. Mrs. Wright has been ill since last February. I visited her in
Florida last July and August and have only been home a short time. We have known for a long time that she
could not get well and all her friends have known that she was ill."
The body of Mrs. Wright is expected to arrive in Decatur Sunday and will be taken to the Moran & Sons
chapel to await the completetion of arrangements for the funeral.

Mary Virginia Wiseman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Orville Wiseman, died at 1:30 o'clock Sunday
morning at the family residence, 1410 East Locust street. She was five years old last November. Her death
was caused by leakage of the heart, after an illness of one year.
The little girl was born Nov. 15, 1918. Beside her parents, she is survived by two sisters, Dorothy Ellen and
Geraldine, and her brother William Orville Wiseman, Jr., all of Decatur.
The funeral will be held at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the residence. The burial will be in Brush College
cemetery.
