My Ggrandfather was Daniel Peter Kadel born in Germany January 19, 1843 in Germany. He came to the USA and resided in Tazewell Co. Illinois. His parents were Peter Kadel & Hanna Traub. He married Elizabeth Hartman also of German decent, in Tazewell Co. They had 10 children, but 6 died as children and the only survivors that had children were women so the Kadel name from this branch has ended. If anyone connects with this German branch I would gladly share information.
