Hi, Linda. This is your cousin Frank writing. A little more information about PFAK, VI: his sister's married name was Wilhelmine Kurth and his brother George lived in Wichita, KS. He was born in the Hansestadt of Kiel. I have a vague recollection that some of his forbears (a father and grandfather) fought in a battle related to the Schleswig-Holstein question. Also, in the 1900 census he lists his place of birth as Denmark. In the 1930 census his son lists his father's place of birth as Germany. Let me know if you learn anything else, please.
