Looking for any information that would indicate whether John Keeney married to Mary Hempstead was originally from CT or MO. Some sources indicate that Mary Hempstead Keeney was already a widow before moving to St. Louis, MO between 1804-1810. Several sources indicate that she had only one son, Dr. Christopher Keeney, who was born about 1805. If you have any information that could help answer this question, please e-mail me.
