I am looking for information on the family of George Keeney, born, probably in East Hartford CT, about 1760 (based on census data). George reportedly married Ruth Vibbert of East Hartford before 1790 and he appears in the 1790-1810 censuses.
George had around six children but I have only been able to identify one son - George Nelson Keeney who was born around 1789 and married Mary Treat around 1812. George N. and Mary first appear in East Hartford in 1820 and later in Manchester.
I am looking for George's parents' names, a source for the marriage to Ruth Vibbert, the names of George's other children and any other information available on this family.
