Hi Charles. It seems ages ago since you posted this message for myself I have had fits and starts on the Kells tree with no sucess so have been working on the tree of ancestors of my wife, they all originate in England so much easier. Going back to the Kells side. my gfather John Kells born 1854 came over from Ireland (?) his father my ggfather Frederick Kells dob Feb 23 1817 place Drumcard near Kinawley Co Cavan. His Father I believe was William Kells and according to the valuation of tenements had a house office and land in the Parish of Templeport.
I wonder whether you have any good contacts who live in Northern Ireland who may be able to help me move on.
Thanks for your help. Regards Fred
