I am an Alston researcher looking for the spousal connnection of Emma E Kellum b. 10 Dec 1840 d. 22 Dec 1861. She married my Thomas Franklin Alston (son of Nathaniel Kimbrough and Winifred (May)Alston), date of marriage unknown.
We think Emma died during birth or soon after, no known children from this marriage. We think she was probably quite young, since Thomas' second wife was. Emma is buried in Oddfellow Cemetery, Anderson, Grimes Co., Texas along with the above mentioned Winifred (May) Alston, we think Nathaniel Kimbrough Alston is buried along side his wife in an unmarked grave, but cannot be sure.
The early Kellum arrivals in Texas were Edward and Karen Kellum; where there more? Can anyone provide possible parentage for my Emma E Kellum? Since I know little of the Kellum family, I tend to stump around a lot, if you think a family is possible, please let me know.
