There were 11 Kemper/Campers listed in the 1800 census of Kentucky. To my knowledge, nothing has ever been published that identifies all 11. I have taken a close look at these individuals and, in my judgement, I believe they are all included in the Willis Kemper 1899 book. What follows is a listing I have compiled of these individuals with their reference numbers from Willis' book. Lettice Camper (Fayette Co) - Lettitia Whitesides the wife of Henry no. 21, the son of John and Alice Utterbach Kemper. John Kemper, Jr.(Garrard Co) - No. 104. He is son of Henry and Lettitia Whitesides Kemper. He is likely call "Jr." because he is the younger of the two Kempers. William Kemper (Montgomery Co) - No. 105 and also a son of Henry and Lettitia. Ruben Camper (Montgomery Co) - No. 106 is also Henry and Lettitia's son. Henry Camper (Fayette Co) - No. 107 is also Henry and Lettitia's son. John Kemper, Sr. (Garrard Co) - No. 48. Son of John Peter and Elizabeth Fishbach Kemper. Enoch Kemper (Garrard Co) - No. 132. Son of John and Sarah Rosser Kemper William Kemper (Garrard Co) - No. 128. Also son of John and Sarah Rosser Kemper. Tilman Camper (Fayette Co) - No. 73. Son of John II and Ann Weaver Kemper. Caleb Camper (Harrison Co) - No. 157. Son of James and Judith Hathaway Kemper. Joel Camper (Henry Co) - No. 210. Son of Peter and Mary Whitesides Kemper. I would be interested in knowing if anyone has come across such a list before. If there is interest I may be able to add some more info to the above. As genealogy is always a "work in progress" I welcome corrections and comments.
