Dear Leslie, Many apologies for not replying on your response of 2 years ago. I was expecting a reply in my personal email not back to this message board. We actually refound this by mistake. Yes, this family is the correct family of Kempsters and the John listed for 1866 is the family line we are trying to follow. We do have this data already and we have found John, son Arthur and Arthur's wife Florence in Detroit, Michigan in 1930. There were no children listed with them in the census record at that date. The one concern I have with this family line is that a Bainbridge Family Tree, which we came in possession of, listed children up to 1956 for all branches except for Arthur & Florence. There are two possible explanations, one there was indeed, no offspring or two, the author of the tree had also lost contact with the family and just didn't know (as is always the case, the author is now deceased). If this Kempster family connects with Chrissie in New Zealand we would love to contact her. If she is a descendant of Arthur & Florence, even more so. Our email address is: first.lowery@sasktel.net Thanks for the assistance and sorry for the late response. David Lowery Notify Administrator about this message?
