According to Rosalie Davis' excellent book on The Garth Family, Thomas and Lucinda Kennerly were summoned to appear in court in Louisa County, Virginia, in 1783 to testify on the behalf of the Price children, orphans of William Price, regarding the ownership of a slave, Ned. Rosalie believes that Lucinda was the daughter of John Price and Elizabeth Brown.
