I have quite a bit of info from census and church records -- majority from Dakota, Washington and LeSueur Counties, MN. Happy to exchange info and anxious to hear from anyone who can contribute to / confirm my records.
Based on census records, there were at least two sets of John and Catherine Kenny aka Kinny in Dakota County, Minnesota from about 1860-1875. John Kenny (born about 1790) and his wife Catherine are probably the parents of John Kinny (born about 1810) who married Catherine Whaley, Martin Kinney (born about 1825) who married Elizabeth, and Patrick Kinney (born about 1833) who married first Catherine and second Bridget Doran.
John Kinny / Catherine Whaley children: Catherine Kenney who married (1) Jerome Magone and (2) Robert Cook; Martin Kinny; Patrick Kinny; Richard Kenny who married Anna Maher; Bridget Kinny; Margaret Kinny who married Thomas Kenney; Dennis Kenney who married Margaret Ryan; John Kenney.
Martin Kinney / Elizabeth children: John Kinney; Margaret Kinney; George Kinney; Mary Ann Kinney who married Frank Perkins.
Patrick Kinney / Catherine children: John F. Kinney who married Minnie Tobin; Aaron Kinney died young.
Patrick Kinney / Bridget Doran children: Mary J. Kinney died young; James Joseph Kinney married Marion Lillian Van Alstine; Margaret Kenney died young; Minnie Kinney died young; Ann S. Kinney married James Henry O'Connor; George J. Kinney married Emma Nordin; Charles Kinney died young.
Also looking for info on Bridget Doran family and confirmation of relationship of Cunnien, Drackert and Kevelin families. Believe daughters of Richard Kenny and Anna Maher, Margaret and Catherine, married Cunnien and Drackert respective. Believe Katherine Kenny who married John J. Kevelin was a daughter of Martin or Patrick Kinny.
