I am conducting a research project on the Kenney Surname.
I am interested not only in the origin and locations of the Kenney surname in Ireland, I am also search for John KENNEY/KENNY/ born Aug. 1809 In Ireland, (unknown County) he immigrated first to Canada, Huron District, Onterio where he married Elizabeth DOLAN on 22 Feb 1841at the Gore Mission Roman Catholic Church in Peel, Onterio. They remained in Canada until around the 1870's and are found in the 1880 Federal Census as residing in Alabaster County, Michigan. Elizabeth Dolan died on in April, 1890 and John died 21 Mar 1904. They both died in Alabaster County, Michigan.
