I have researched my grandfather's side of the family and now I wish to get some info on my grandmother's side. All I know is that she was born Eleanor Delores Kenny in Detroit MI approx. 1930. Her parents disowned her when she married my grandfather. They did not recognize their marriage because my grandfather had been divorced previously. Eleanor married William Allor approx. 1949-1950. No one has any information on her side of the family because their names were not allowed to be spoken in my grandparent's home. My father and his siblings have no info either. It is rumored that Eleanor's parents were born in Dublin, Ireland where they were going to be a priest and a nun, but neither took their vows. I don't know if there is any truth to that or not.
As you can see I have very little info, so anything would be helpful. Thank you in advance.
