My grandmother, Annie O'Hara (I believe from Kilglass, b. late 1800s?)immigrated to Brooklyn, NY. She had a prayer book which contains part of an obituary with the last name of Kenny. It reads: "(First name not legible)Kenny, son of ___ and Ellen Kenny, died ___ at the Base Hospital, ___ South Carolina. He was from Claddagh, County Galway." It goes on to say he lived in Brooklyn, was survived by three sisters ___Godfrey and Nellie, brothers Michael,Patrick (possibly in Brooklyn) and five brothers residing in Ireland. Mr. Kenny is buried in Calvary Cemetary in NY.
Just wondering if anyone can fill in other pieces.
