About 6 years ago, some US Kennys wandered around Curraghmore looking for ancestors. They found no one but the local Kenny's found out about this a few weeks later. The clan is quite large in the Athlone area. My grandfather James had a brother who moved to ?Baltimore in the 1920's or 30's. James' father was Tom. Perhaps the Americans were progeny of that immigrant. This may help those American wanderers.
