Hi Esme and Dan,
My lookup has come in. Andrew Henry Kenny was born about 1879 in Houwhook, Caledon, Cape Colony. He died at the age of 44 of consumption, leaving six orphaned children. The youngest two were adopted by his late wife's sister and raised as Wades. One of his sons was named John Andrew and it appears that there was a John Andrew in the previous generation as well, could have been a brother. This one married a Pelagia Bernadette in 1901. She died in about 1973? Does this ring any bells?
