And one other interesting sidenote, Walter Ker's son William, marries first a Gordon, yes of Scot ancestry and yes from the borders and no I don't have an established link to the Gordon's of Earlstoun, and the name Lydia comes from the Gordon side even though Lydia is the daughter or William and his second wife Catherine Loofburrow.
