Hi Mary, Thanks for your genealogy although I tend to stick to the Kernaghans otherwise I don't know where I will end up. I am going over to Belfast in mid April to try and find some more information about my great grandfather John Kernaghan. The trouble is that I have two John K's, both were whipmakers, one married in 1869 to a woman called Amelia and said he was 21 years old and the one I know was my great grandfather I found in the 1881 census gave his age as 41 [born in Newry,Ireland]with his 'wife' Louisa, so there is an age gap of 8 years. I don't know whether they are two men or one. I have to go over to Newry to try and sort it all out. I tried to get some information via the Gedcom, [see the early messages]but have had no luck so far. Do you know what happened to Charles Irwin ?? Any information would be appreciated. Regards, Terry
