There seems to be a lot of confusion about Charles Keyser. I have to believe that there were two Charles' one born in 1702 and the other 1726. Maybe they both migrated about the same time and the names became confused on military, imigration, and Gov records. One would have been old enough to be the uncle of the other. It certainly was not uncommon to name children after relatives. I am finding one as a mercinary in the war, could he have been sold by the Germans to Great Brit., and have come to America that way. I have a grand father who did that very thing.
I'm looking for help to get this sorted out. My grandmother was a direct line decendant of Charles, which one I can not say for sure. I would appreciate any correspondence.
