King William's War Forum

Family legend has some Prussian brothers by the name of Koerner joining William's army, fighting at the Battle of the Boyne, settling in Northern Ireland (around Lurgan), changing their name to Corner, then departing for Canada in 1849.
Variations on this story involve English, Scottish, Danish, Swiss or French settlers whose original monikers were either Cornor, Koerner, Cordner, or Cordonnier.
Are there any known lists (I think they might be called muster rolls) of soldiers in the armies of William?
How many others out there might have similar stories in their families? How reliable do people consider these stories?
