Spelling variations of surname--Kenny, Kenney, Kinne, Kinney, etc.
Looking for ancestors and descendants of Thomas Kinney (b. 8/31/1771, VT/CT/MA/ME; d. 3/21/1846, St. George, ME). Thomas married Susannah Jane Kelloch / Kalloch (b. 1/8/1772, St. George, ME; d. 11/12/1849, St. George, ME). Susannah Jane was the daughter of Matthew Kelloch / Kalloch and Mary Robinson. Thomas and Susannah had at least 8 known children. They were:
Sophronia (m. Barnabas Fountain)
Sarah
Thomas (m. Sarah Davis)
Lucy V. (m. James S. Davis)
Daniel W. (m. Isabel Kelloch)
Elizabeth (John B. Dunbar)
Mary (m. David Davis)
Matthew (m. Ephia Linnekin)
My guy descends from Thomas and Susannah's son, Thomas. His line goes something like this:
Thomas Kinney / Sarah Davis--through their son, Thomas
Thomas Kinney / Elosia Ann Harrington--through their son, James Edmond
James Edmond Kinney / Rachel Vose Robinson, through their son, James Rodney
James Rodney Kinney was married to Emma Dorothy Coltart.
In the early 1800s, this family settled around the areas of Warren, Cushing, St. George, ME.
