I am still trying to identify the Thankful Kinne who married John Utley in the Preston/Stonington, CT area. Florence Robertson's book on the Kinnes says that Gideon Kinne's daughter, Thankful, married Asa Burton in 1766 and John Utley in 1780. I believe that this source is incorrect, as I have found evidence that Asa and Thankful were still married in 1813. If that is true, then who was the Thankful who married Henry Utley? I have found no other Thankful with maiden name, Kinne, in the proper age range. Could she have been a Kinne widow?
