Hoping that maybe someone will be able to help me. I've hit a brick wall and at my wits end. I would love to be able to find out more on my gr-gr-grandfather, but the family hasn't been able to give much information.
David (Dave) Kinney b. March 1871 in IL d. November 7, 1940-buried in Brinkley, AR. Married Florence Smiley b. October 2, 1875 in IL. d. September 7, 1949-buried in Brinkley, AR.
According to the 1920 Census, Brinkley, Monroe, AR, their children are as listed:

Ralph-17-MO (my line)
Robert-12-MO

Eugene-1/12-AR
My research in Illinois has led me to believe that I may descend from the Kinney's in St. Clair County, IL (William Kinney, Lieutenant-Governor of Illinois) but I have no actual proof.
Any help or information is greatly appreciated.
