I have questions about Jonathan Knapp, born 1709. Information I was sent several years ago gave his parents as Nathaniel and Rachel (Cobb) Knapp, but their marriage date was given as 1729, 20 years after Jonathan's birth! I also have seen a marriage for a Nathaniel Knapp to Bethia Briggs. Who do you have for Jonathan's parents? Please give dates and sources if possible.
My line continues from Jonathan and his wife Mehitable Tucker through their son Abial and Keziah Cheney to Elijah and Sally Eliot, to their daughter Letta who married Irad Porter in 1839. Any clarification of this line would be helpful. Thanks.
