Kim, I am a direct line descendant of the Knechts that originally came from Switzerland. My gggrandfather was Humphrey Knecht and his father was Johan Knecht from Switzerland. If this may be in the direction of your family line let me know and I can see if i can help. I live in Lexington, Kentucky.
