I am James Henry Knipe Miller the second, named after my grandfather of the same full name who was married to Ester Laurie (Bobbie) Heine in and from South Africa (Wimbledon Womens finalist in Doubles and singles in the 1920s). My Father is Desmond Knipe Miller also born and raised in South Africa and settled in Australia in 1958.
I note in your log a James Henry Knipe in the USA. My mother is a Rittenhouse from Delaware and whose ancestor David Rittenhouse had the first paper mill i the US colonies and commissioned the first mint for George Washington.
Hope this is of use and interest. Am looking for early Knipe Millers from South Africa
