My Father-In-Law - Thomas Risinger

Thomas fought in the Korean War - don't know what company. He never talked about it until our son was in his early teens. That was the first time my husband heard him speak of it. Apparently he drove a tank on the front lines. He spoke of a group of men that would go before him armed with only piano wire. Then his group would come in with their tanks. I'm not sure of the name of the tank that he drove, but it had a gunner on top. He was discharged around June or July of 1954. Thomas is from Lexington County, SC.

If anyone knew of him, I would appreciate your letting me know. I'm sure he'd like to hear from you.
