I recently began my search for information on Josef and Camilla (Popper) Kraus who came from Bohemia to New York in 1882 on the passenger ship Neckar (I have located a copy-microfilm-of the passenger ship list). They had 13 children beginning with Julius, Edward, Alfred (my great-grandfather), Berthold, Hermine (the first 5 were all born in Bohemia, I think Samechov) and then Louis, Anna, Otto, Josephine, Elsie Theresa, Richard, William and Rose (who died in infancy). If you have any information on any member of the family, please feel free to share what you know. Thanks so much.
