I'm looking for information on Margaret Kraus who married Jacob Lindner on 12 Aug 1865 in Hamilton County (info from www.familysearch.org). In the 1870 census for Cincinnati, Jacob Lindner was age 26 and born in Baden. His wife Margareth was age 22 and born in Bavaria. Their children were Elizabeth, Veronica, Bertha, and Caroline. I believe that Jacob Lindner died before 1880 when Margaret was the wife of Max Weiner and his stepdaughters were Lillie, Flora, Bertha, Ida, and Lena Lindner. Some of the names do not match in the two census records but the ages do - I think nicknames or middle names were used. Margaret was the widow of Max Weiner in the 1890/1891 city directory for Cincinnati. I think Bertha Lindner was my great-grandmother who was born c1868 and died in 1897.
Does anyone know the parents of Margaret Kraus or Jacob Lindner or what happened to their other daughters?
