I am of the jacobi line from saratov (doenhof) russia area. When I saw the name Kraus associated with Jacobi(Y)
I looked on the ship records of US Washington Sept 1 1913
and found a Maria Katheryn ( Kraus) Lind age 28. Noting Her father as Kraus ( george)? from Goloborka Russia. My Gr Grandmother Elizabeth( Eichhorn)Jacobi came over on the same ship with my Grandfather Carl. Her father was also from Goloborka Russia. They were both meeting there husbands in the same place, so I figure there must be a connection. I'll try and find where. MY grandparents had relatives in colorado and Waseon Oh. If this fits please let me know. I'm trying to find my Jacobi connections.
